in all honesty, i'm not interested in speculating how this kiss might index something else (i.e. a long-term, pseduo-closeted relationship). i'm much more interested in this moment as one that complicates any clear understanding of the hip hop community's relationship to queerness on one hand, and homophobia on the other.
